Dragon Boat 2006

The Dragon Boat races organised by the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper are a major feature in the summer outdoor events in Abingdon. More than just Dragon Boat racing, there is a fun fair as well as numerous stalls, so that the whole day is a great one for all the family. A Dragon Boat team will typically consist of about 20 people (16 plus a drummer in the boat and a few reserves). There is still time for you and your friends to enter a team in this year's event. Any group is eligible. In the past we have had teams from industrial and commercial concerns, from various hospitals, the armed forces, pubs and clubs, charitable organisations, and more.
