Elijah receives Paul Harris Award

On Tuesday 5th June 2007, the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper presented Elijah Kyamuwendo with the prestigious Paul Harris award. Elijah is CEO of the Kulika Trust, a charity based in Uganda committed to improving the livelihoods of those most in need through community development. The Paul Harris award is given as recognition for outstanding contributions to Rotary. The recipient is known as a Paul Harris Fellow and receives a medallion on a blue and gold ribbon, a special lapel badge and a citation signed by the President of Rotary International and the Chairman of Rotary Foundation Trustees.
