Welcome to the web site of the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper.

The Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper is part of Rotary International's District 1090. District 1090 covers Central Southern England, which includes Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and parts of Buckinghamshire and Middlesex.

Rotary International is the world's largest service organisation for business and professional people, with some 1.2 million members in over 200 countries world-wide.

Great Britain and Ireland has over 56,000 Rotarians in 1838 Clubs, helping those in need and working towards world understanding and peace. 'Service above Self' is the organisation's motto.


Events and activities of the Club include Dragon Boat Racing along the River Thames in Abingdon, Barge Trips along the Kennet and Avon Canal, Kids Out Day, working with the Stroke Association, providing equipment and services to schools and hospitals in Africa, Shelterbox and more.
