Introduction
Since 1995 the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper has been running trips on the Kennet and Avon canal, giving many local groups the opportunity to have a wonderful day out on a barge. Each year we hire a barge for four weeks to provide special days out for a range of people of all ages for whom such an activity really makes a difference.
The specially-designed barge is built to accommodate people with physical disabilities and is maintained by the Bruce Branch of the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust.
The 2019 barge trips run from Friday 7th June 2019 to Thursday 11th July 2019 (including a break during the week beginning 21st June). If your organisation is interested in taking part, please fill in the contact form.
